Reflections

I have been a terrible blogger as of late. I’ve been lost in self reflection and the constant question of how can I improve myself? I have had to face a lot of hard times lately but I’m finding myself stronger as I look in the mirror and realize who I what to be. I have talked about my dreams and aspirations with friends and co-workers. I find support and pushback. I find who supports dreams and those who have lost site of there own in ways where they want you to lose yours.

Why do people resist success? Why are we so afriad of being left behind? Why do we want people to fail?

Defining the Mechanical Labyrinth

For me the mechanical labyrinth is a place to get lost in a realm of fantastical wonder. A place where I go for answers and to get lost in a world so different from reality. I imagine a universe where science meets magic and time has no meaning. A land run by imagination both beautiful and haunting. A territory you believe you know where you are going but changes in a moment with a few wheeling gears. A constantly moving and changing mechanical place filled with the noises of machines.

Come one, come all to the world of mechanical labyrinth. A maze of fantastical wonder for the imagination. Inventions of unreality to mind trips of the forgotten and lost. The mirages that keep us wanting more to the hallucinations we want to capture.

This isn’t about finding your way out of the labyrinth but a way to enjoy the world around you, a way of having hope in the path you have taken. Creativity is welcome to this place of acceptance and exploration. Allow yourself to go on this flight of fancy and glide to a world of daydreams.

I’m here as a guide to help you through this world of gears, steam, and machines. Some places are dark and others filled with hope, some of nightmares and others of dreams. We will never know where the next step takes us but that is the joy of being in a labyrinth, always an adventure, always a riddle, always something to discover.
